Repairing a quality tool can often cost much less than replacing it. We work on the same equipment we sell, including power tools, air compressors, pneumatic tools, and the hydraulic jacks and presses in our automotive specialty tools line.
Bring in your tools from these brands for repair, service and warranty work. See the full line card.
Catching a problem early usually means a simpler, less expensive repair. Here's what to watch for and how to keep your tools running longer.
Power tools: heavy sparking, a burning smell, loss of power, intermittent operation, or grinding gears. Compressors: slow to build pressure, running constantly, leaking oil, or tripping breakers. Air tools: weak power, air leaks, or a sticking trigger. Hydraulic tools: won't hold a load, feel spongy, or leak fluid.
Industrial tools like magnetic drills, large rotary hammers, two-stage compressors, and professional impact wrenches are usually worth repairing. An inexpensive consumer tool may not be. We'll tell you what your tool needs so you can make the call.
For cordless tools, bring the battery and charger too, since many problems start there. Write down what the tool is doing and when it started. For large compressors or heavy equipment, call ahead at (614) 443-7607 so we can plan.
Drain compressor tanks daily, oil air tools before use, keep power tool vents clear, and store jacks fully lowered. Replace dull drill bits and blades, since they force motors to work harder and burn out sooner.
Dull accessories are a hidden cause of motor failure. If you find yourself pushing harder to drill or cut, the bit or blade is probably worn. Replacing it is cheaper than replacing a motor.

Yes. We repair both corded and cordless power tools. Bring the battery and charger with the tool, since some problems come from the battery or charger rather than the tool.
